Join Leeav Sofer, Urban Voices Project’s Artistic Director, to use mindfulness and body to build performance skills and singing techniques whether you are an industry, professional singer or a seasoned, shower singer. Through intentionality, we use this space to jam on songs we love as well as learn new favorites, with a curiosity to explore the abilities of your voice.

Wednesdays, 4:00pm

Join both Leeav and Kate and regular guest artists, for an interactive experience of conscious breathing, powerful singing and instruments jamming to promote self-expression, wellness and connectivity. Sing in virtual community with a diverse repertoire of songs and friends. A place for artists of all levels to come together, including many guest artists from both around the nation and the Skid Row neighborhood. Guided discussions around music and lyrics provide tools to improve mind, body and soul.

Fridays, 1:00pm

Join Kate Richards Geller, Urban Voices Project’s Music Wellness Director, offering practical ways to use music to create change in the mind and body. Using only voice and body as instruments, we play with the elements of music to settle the nervous system and to address mood, concentration, stress, pain, fear, isolation, and loneliness.
